Meet Dr. Jason Slomovitz (“Dr. Jason”)
Dr. Jason grew up in Bucks County, PA, and has been practicing dentistry in New Jersey since 2009. His dental career actually started when he was a teenager, working as a dental assistant during school holidays and summer vacations. Dr. Jason has loved dentistry ever since.
Education and Experience
Dr. Jason earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his Dental degree at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts; a “Double Jumbo!” He was awarded the Alumni Clinical Excellence Award in General Dentistry; a prestigious recognition given each year to one student for their superior achievements in patient care on the dental clinic floor.
Dr. Jason was the President of his dental fraternity. Through the fraternity, with assistance from the Boston Red Sox, he helped organize a trip to an orphanage in the Dominican Republic to provide dental care to children. He also provided care to the athletes at the Red Sox Training facility on the island, as well as people in the villages surrounding the orphanage.
This trip had a profound impact on Dr. Jason’s practice of dentistry and helped foster his belief in the importance of taking time to educate patients about their needs and the treatment they are receiving. He has continued to apply this belief to his practice throughout his career, and the insights and techniques he brings to patient care continue to grow and evolve.
Dr. Jason’s commitment to education and excellent patient care makes him a great addition to the Monokian Dentistry team! The dental team loves working with such a caring, compassionate, highly skilled clinician.
